I love this story so much! I seriously can't deal with my love for "Métalica" and "Prosecutor" both the perfect superhero names and the perfect girls who use them. I really love the dynamic you've created for them this isn't a first time team-up, but they aren't currently regular teammates so there's all this cool history but also sort of, I don't know, specialness to this specific teamup if that makes sense. You've built in so much buildup and like done that really cleverly using what we know about the plot of the show to like scaffold that and whatever even though this is the first story in the universe. You do a really good job of showing their connection. Also my spell check just changed teamup to teacup so that's also something.

That she let him get close enough to do it was all on her, though.

And you know how I feel about it, but it's really hard for me not to quote back like THE WHOLE MIDDLE PART about Alice and how she deals with not being seen as an "all american hero". It's just so good. Also Alice just loves the team so much. My heart.

Rather than being horrified - that Alice expected her to suit back up in this monstrosity - Marti was just kind of…touched.
